Pimp or Promote! It’s all about YOU today on the blog!

This is my gal pal Gayle on her horse Snoopy. They’re showing today at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and I’m playing hooky to go see them!

Hmmm, where are my cowboy boots and that pink cowboy hat with the tiara?

Since I’ll be gone today, why don’t you take this opportunity to Pimp or Promote either yourself or someone else!

That’s my homeboy Pimp Dawg.

Today is all about YOU!! In the comments, tell us what you’re working on ~ your book, your fabulous blog post for today or last week, your laundry, go ahead! Pimp yourself right here on my blog.

Want to share the love for someone else? That’s cool, too. Tell us about a friend’s blog, book, or laundry. It’s all good. Make sure we have links so we can all head on over to check out the fabulousness you’re promoting.

I’m still looking for more great writing music. You all had amazing songs last week, have you thought of any others?

By the way, if you’ve never checked out Gayle’s blog, she’s pretty darn funny. She has a few different blogs, one all about her horse Snoopy. Go ahead, give her some love!

Thanks for the opportunity, Tameri. Today I wrote a very interesting post for the AtoZchallenge today about The Rocks in Sydney. Interesting if I do say so myself. I just love small, eccentric and charming areas of town. Check it out at sydneyaaliyah.wordpress.com

Oh I wish I could go to the DelMar Fairgrounds with you today! Go Gayle! Go Snoopy!
Thanks for the opportunity to share our “stuff” – I love that my friend Patricia Caviglia is joining the Walk So Kids Can Talk to raise money for the Kids Help Phone. I’m hoping everyone will check to see if something like that is happening in their neighbourhood. Pay it forward, gang, and have a great weekend!

Funny, my blog is about laundry. Check it out at nancyjnicholson.com. But really I’m excited as I start to outline a new series of Fiction. Woo Hoo!

Hmmm, pink cowboy hat with a tiara…sounds like I have a crafting project ahead of me. ;)

I’m going to take the opportunity to share my fiction series with everyone. This is a big deal for me – sharing my fiction writing with someone other than my writing partners. I’ve been loving everyone’s participation and the messages I’ve been getting from the “silent readers”.

It’s interactive serial fiction (Tameri knows!) so the readers get to be involved!

Part V went up yesterday: http://wosushi.wordpress.com/2012/04/19/tell-me-a-story-part-v/

Thanks to all who check it out. Now, I’m off to check out everyone’s links!

Thanks so much Tameri. I can see you in a pink cowboy hat with a Tiara. But then I’m from Calgary. The Calgary STampede offers all sorts of interesting views.

Today I’m the featured guest at the fabulous Karenna Colcroft’s home. http://louisebehiel.com/2012/04/20/im-guest-blogging-today/ (I’m hoping that comes out as a hyperlink) We’re chatting about the Romantic Times Convention. by the way, in honor of today, I put Family Ties, my Amazon release up for free. It’s available here: http://www.amazon.com/Family-Ties-Sunset-Crescent-ebook/dp/B007LCPNSO/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1334923694&sr=1-1

Thanks Louise! I’m so sad… I couldn’t find the pink cowboy hat. I think I packed it away with the Halloween costumes. What was I thinking? ;)

That’s terrific you were the featured guest! Congrats to you!!

Hope you have fun at the horse show, Tameri!

I wrote a fun blog post this week, where I played casting director for the male characters in my recently released Chick Lit novel “Blame It on the Fame.” Needless to say, having to do research for this blog post, which required looking at dozens of photos of hot men, was not a hardship! ;)

I hope everyone will check it out!

Tameri, you are obviously a wonderful woman and I like the look of your homeboy too. Thanks for the opportunity to point anyone who’s interested in the direction of my blog ‘Essential Guide to Being Unpublished’ and in particular a post about a little known English author called Gladys Meakin. Hope you enjoy and thanks once again! http://wp.me/p1ZO26-e5

    Have a wonderful day, Tameri!

I’m going to use this opportunity (thank you!) to promote my latest contest – enter a poem using the criteria on my blog for a chance to win a signed copy of the Love Notes romantic poetry collection anthology! Today is the last day to enter! :)

Not my day for comments on blogs – it appears they are shy and hiding behind the curtains. So if you get this twice, sighhh

Thanks so much Tameri. I loved your Summertime post. You had such a fun childhood in a great location.

Congrats on the impending publication of your Bobble-head Cat book. That just sounds like too much fun.

  10. David N. Walker

Hope you have a great time, Tameri. I’m having my Christian devotional formatted for e-pubbing right now. Hope to have it on Amazon & B&N next week. Now, if I could just get some bloggers to interview me or plug the book. Thanks for this opportunity.

    1. Tameri Etherton

That’s terrific, David! Virginia Ripple would be a good fit for your book and Ali Dent as well. You should check out those two ladies. Possibly even Rebekah Loper, too. I’ll try to think of others that your book would work well on their blog.

Have fun with your friend Tameri. I enjoyed the picture and I just love that little fuzzy pimped out dawg. Awww….This week for me has been all about getting back into the stream of things. I’m starting a new health/fitness experiment which I will post about in the coming weeks. It could be a success or it could be a failure, either way I’ll let my readers know. LOL I’m also happy to report that as of right now I’m ahead of schedule on my revamped outline to go to my editor. I was amazed when I realized I was actually ahead of the game. That never happens to me anymore. LOL Here’s a great writing tip I read today from Larry Brooks, got to love Larry and his no B.S. approach.

I saw some great links in the comments too! Guess what I’ll be doing this weekend???

    1. Tameri Etherton

I know, I love that little dawg. Oooh, you know I love your health posts, so I’m looking forward to that! Way to go on being ahead of schedule. That’s always a good feeling.

Thanks for the writing tip. You’re right, he’s kind of awesome.

Hugs to you, my friend. I’m glad to hear you’re getting back to your schedule. That’s a huge part of healing.

    1. Tameri Etherton

Oooh, how fun! I need to read that one (I’m still trying to catch up from playing hooky.) Ghost towns are cool, curses even cooler.

Thanks for sharing your post with us!

  12. Missy

Hello Tameri, Reminds me of the Del Mar Fair (Oh, oops, the San Diego County Fair). It’s almost time. Can’t wait for those cinnamon rolls! I write YA. My first novel is finished and I’m working on my second. Have a great day from fellow San Diego girl.

    1. Tameri Etherton

Hahaa, yeah Missy, I still say Del Mar Fair too. It will never be the SD County Fair to me. Congrats on finishing your first YA and now tacking your second one! If you’re ever up for hanging out, I’d love to meet a fellow SD writer. Thanks for stopping in to say hi.

  13. Debra Kristi

I bet you look pretty darn cute in them cowboy boots with the pink hat and tiara! Hope you are having a blast. Thanks for sharing the love today. I see some I need to head over and check out. I am reminding people to hold each day dear. http://wp.me/p1QtlR-XQ Hugs!

    1. Tameri Etherton

Well, I would’ve if I could find the darn thing. I did have a blast and my friend placed very well in her events! I need to read your post ~ I know it’s going to make me cry so I’m going to wait until I’m not wearing make up and about to go out. Your relationship with your sister is one I will always cherish (and wish I had with mine). Hugs to you, too!

    1. Tameri Etherton

Your mom is so awesome. I loved reading that post and the conversation you had with her cracked me up. It’s no wonder you’re absolutely awesome as well!

      1. Marc Schuster

I guess you could call it a “tragicomedy.” It’s about a twenty-something struggling to come of age in the wake of a tragedy. It’s available in e-formats now, and will be available in hardback from the Permanent Press sometime in May. Thanks for asking!
